Considerably more brokerage technology is built around MetaTrader than around cTrader. That is an ecosystem fact rather than a judgement about the platform, but it has a practical consequence: a cTrader brokerage has fewer off-the-shelf back-office options and more often needs integration work.
Budget for that, and raise it early with any vendor you speak to, including us.
What to ask a vendor claiming cTrader support
- 1Is this a shipping product or a custom integration built per client?
- 2Can the CRM provision cTrader trading accounts, or only read them?
- 3Can it apply balance operations, and how does it verify they landed?
- 4How are failures and timeouts handled?
- 5Who has it been deployed for, and can the integration be demonstrated live?
The first question is the one most worth asking, because the answer changes cost and timeline substantially.
