What is MT5?
MetaTrader 5 is a multi-asset trading platform developed by MetaQuotes, widely used by retail brokers for execution, charting and order management.
Stands for: MetaTrader 5
MT5 presents two distinct surfaces: a client-facing trading terminal and a broker-side administrative layer usually referred to as MT5 Manager.
It is the default platform across most of the retail brokerage industry, which is why the majority of brokerage technology is built to integrate with it.
