What is Commission?

In a brokerage context, commission most often refers to the amount a partner earns on the trading activity of clients they introduced, or a fee charged per trade.

Partner commission is calculated from real trading volume and attributed to the introducing partner and their upline.

A commission event should reference the specific trade that generated it, so that the same trade cannot be credited twice.
